The control panel on a Microwave Oven is designed to have a high contrast of the background and the keypads. While this assists in the use of the controls, the Microwave should be used in a well lit location.

 

Microwave control panels are not generally backlit, which means the lettering on the keypads does not light up and the control panel is not back lit. The lettering cannot be changed or made brighter.

 

If the actual control panel display window that shows the clock, cooking time or cooking function is too dim (barely visible) or there are sections of the clock display that are missing, this would require service. For service, please schedule a repair appointment with Bodewell.
