Air Conditioners - Putty Substance

It is normal to see a white putty-like substance/seal around the wires that go to the compressor and the wires that go to the control board.  This substance can also be seen sealing a hole at the top frame.

• This substance ensures that no moisture gets to the electrical components.  It is used on window AC as well as Zonelines and all other AC’s manufacturers.
