Top Load Washer - Tide Pods™ Dispense

In October of 2019, GE Appliances is introducing the first dedicated laundry detergent pack dispenser in Top Load washers. It is uniquely designed to optimize the detergent’s cleaning power.

Using the Dedicated Laundry Detergent Pack Dispenser on a Top Load Washer

• A powerful water jet pierces the pod from the start and a shower of water activates the power of the detergent, helping to mix water with detergent.
• Fear of pods dissolving in contact with clothing is removed thanks to this method ensuring detergent is properly diluted and dispensed evenly throughout the basket. By immediately breaking down the pod, detergent is activated fast and it can effectively start cleaning sooner.
• Any laundry detergent pack will work and the cup may be removed as needed to accommodate other laundry detergent pack brands.
• The dispenser drawer holds up to 3 laundry detergent packs
• The innovative, new Tide PODs Dispense is available, and highlighted, on the new GTW720 and GTW725 models.
