Dishwasher - Twin Turbo Dry Boost

Select Profile models take dry performance a step further on Hidden Heater models with the Twin Turbo Dry Boost feature. In addition to the Hidden Heater in the sump and Fan Assist, this dry system introduces a second heater and fan to heat and push preheated dry air into the tub. This feature allows for all plastics and ceramics to be completely dry.

How it works:

  1. Hidden Heater (1,200-watt in Sump) heats the final rinse water.

  2. Located underneath the dishwasher, a low-intensity 7-CFM fan draws air in across a 400-watt heater and pushes preheated dry air into the dishwasher through a side vent into the tub.

  3. Heated moist air is pulled into the inner top door vent by the Fan Assist exhaust fan within the door. It goes down through a multi-chambered conduit that collects moisture within the door and air exits out the bottom.

    • The side cavity that channels heated dry air into the interior is the same width as the fill funnel. It performs both functions and does not add or affect dimensions or installation.

Models with Twin Turbo Dry Boost will also have the Hidden Element, Hidden Door Vent and the name "Dry Boost Twin Turbo" etched around the vent area on the inner door. The use of a rinse agent further improves drying results.Pressing the Twin Turbo Dry Boost touchpad once selects Normal Heated Dry and a second time activates High Heated Dry, which is Twin Turbo Dry Boost. Twin Turbo Dry Boost remains engaged until de-selected by pressing the Dry Boost button.
