Refrigerators - 12V DC for Recreational Vehicles

Starting November 2019, we are offering 12V DC refrigerators designed for the RV market.  DC Refrigeration gives the owner the ability to keep food cold from the time they leave the driveway until they arrive at their destination.Advantages of DC-Only Power in a Recreational Vehicle: 

• Built for Battery Performance -- semi-automatic defrost design saves energy vs. traditional automatic defrost freezers.

• Compressor cooling system means no external RV ventilation -- keeps your RV cleaner.

• More consistent cooling -- similar to a traditional household refrigerator.

• Works well in uneven terrain.

• More usable capacity with deep shelves.

• LED lighting.

• Manual defrost in freezer - easier on the battery

• Automatic defrost in the fresh food compartment.

• These are not Absorption Refrigerators (that use a flame to heat a combination of ammonia, hydrogen gas and water).  These DC-Only Power models do not have the be turned off before entering a gas station. 

IMPORTANT:  These 12V DC refrigerators are designed for use in RVs, boats, and solar homes.  They DO NOT come with a cord, and cannot be connected to an AC outlet or the AC outlet in an inverter  These refrigerators are not a substitute for traditional, residential top-freezer models.
