Opal Ice Maker - Display Ring Not Working but Ice is Being Made (Models with Round Button on Front)

Opal ice makers with a round button on the front show what mode the ice maker is in by lighting the display ring around the button.  If the display ring is not lit up but the unit is still making ice, check the lighting setting. Make sure the Opal is in Day Mode. Press and hold the front button for 3 seconds. This switches the Opal between Day mode and Night mode.
