Front Load Washer - Power Steam

Utilizing the Power Steam Feature on a Front Load Washer

When enabled, the Power Steam feature is the first operation of the wash cycle and will not wet your clothes directly.  This feature adds steam into the washer before the wash cycle begins to assist with loosening stains on the following cycles: 
  • Normal
  • Whites (automatically)
  • Towels
  • Bulky Bedding
  • Sanitize+Allergen (automatically)
  • Power Clean (automatically)
During the Power Steam cycle, especially in the first few minutes, while the water heats up for steam, it will appear that the washer is tumbling the clothes while dry.  This is normal.  Here's the Power Steam sequence:
  1. Water fills down the back of the tub into the bottom.
  2. The water is heated to generate steam while the clothes are tumbled.

NOTE:  The Power Steam feature will add 25 minutes to the wash cycle.

 
To use:
  1. Press the Power pad to "wake up" the Washer and select a wash cycle.
  2. Use the SmartHQ app or press the Power Steam pad to activate steam.
  3. Press the Start/Pause pad.
The Steam Kit is provided with the washer and includes the following:
  • 1 ft. from water supply
  • Y-adapter
  • 5 -ft. long hose to hook back into the Washer
