Amazon Alexa Set Up for Smart Appliances

SmartHQ™, GE Appliances' voice assistant, works with Amazon Alexa to take our smart appliances to the next level with hands-free voice controls. To use voice control through Amazon Alexa, you must first have one or more smart appliances connected to your home WiFi network through the SmartHQ app.

With Alexa and SmartHQ working together, you can use simple voice commands like: "Alexa, preheat the oven to 350 degrees."

To Get Started

1. Open the Alexa App.
2. Click the ENABLE button.
3. Ensure your smart appliance is connected to WiFi and to your GE Appliances Account. For more information, go to geappliances.com/ConnectHelp.
4. Enter your GE Appliances Account username and password to link your account to Alexa.
