Attachments and Accessories

  • 5.3 qt. stainless steel bowl with handle

  • Pouring shield (bowl lid)

  • Coated flat beater

  • Coated dough hook

  • Wire whisk

About the Attachments

  • Beater: Best for slow stirring ingredients, stirring wet batters, combining mixtures, blending frosting, mashing potatoes, creaming butter, or blending heavier batters with nuts or chips. Tip: To avoid splatters when starting to blend, start at a slower speed and increase slowly to the recommended speed.

  • Dough Hook: Mixing and kneading bread and pizza doughs. Tip: If you want to re-knead the dough with your stand mixer, press the dough down to the bottom of the bowl to avoid the dough wrapping on the tool and re-knead the dough at the recommended speed.

  • Whisk: Whipping cream or egg whites. Tip: start at a slow speed and slowly increase to higher speeds for whipping. Also make sure that the bowl and the whisk are dry and free from grease.

Removing the Attachments

  1. When finished, rotate the control knob back to the Off ("0") position and unplug the stand mixer.

  2. If the splatter guard (bowl lid) is being used, remove it by sliding it straight off the bowl.

  3. Tilt the mixer head up until it clicks into place.

  4. Remove the attachment by turning the attachment clockwise and pulling it down out from the mixer.

  5. Remove the bowl by turning it counter-clockwise and lifting up.

  6. Release the lock lever by sliding to the right and pushing the head of the mixer down.
