GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Time Delay / Remote Start Feature

Your GE Profile UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer allows you the capability of starting it remotely from your smartphone and/or you can delay the start of a wash cycle for up to 24 hours. These features are available on all cycles once you have connected your Combo to the SmartHQ App on your device.
 
 

How to Use Remote Start

You can Remote Start the Combo from your smartphone by using the SmartHQ App and enabling the Remote Start feature on the control panel.
 

Setup

  1. Choose the cycle and the desired options on your Combo.
  2. Enable the Remote Start feature by pressing and holding the More Water/Remote Start button for 3 seconds to allow the Combo to start a cycle from the SmartHQ app. The LCD screen will show "SmartHQ Remote" in a purple box as the first sequence before the blue WASH and/or magenta DRY operations for that cycle to indicate that the Combo will await your command to begin the cycle.
  3. Press the Start/Pause button. This step is important to confirm that you want to fully activate the Remote Start feature. You will hear the drain pump pulse twice and the door locking to indicate that the Combo is synchronized with the App.
  4. Now you can use the SmartHQ app to start the cycle from anywhere.
Remote Start can also be initiated from the Menu button under the Delay Start item by turning it On from there.
 

Cancel

To cancel Remote Start, you can either press and hold the More Water/Remote Start button once again or Power Off on the Combo.
 

How to Use Time Delay Start

You can delay the start of a wash cycle for up to 24 hours.
 

Setup

  1. Press the Menu button.
  2. Scroll down to the Delay Start option and press Select.
  3. Scroll down to Time Delay and press Select.
  4. Use the arrows to adjust the delay hours up to 24 hours. Press Select to set.
  5. Use the arrows again to adjust the delay minutes in 15-minute increments, and then press Select to set. The desired delay time will be shown.
  6. Be sure to press the Start/Pause button to complete the setup. "Time Delay" will be shown on the main LCD display screen when selected.

Cancel

To cancel Time Delay, return to the Time Delay option in the Menu under Delay Start. Then press and hold Select for two seconds.
