GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer - Lint Filter Clogged Notification in SmartHQ App
Receiving status notifications is one of the many benefits of connecting your GE Profile™ UltraFast Combo Washer/Dryer to the SmartHQ™ app. These notifications help you keep your Combo working efficiently and at its optimal performance. One such notification that you may see only in the SmartHQ app is the "Lint Filter Clogged". This notification will appear within 5 minutes after a Dry cycle has completed when your Combo has detected low air flow, which can lead to longer dry cycle times. You may also see the fault code F353 on your Combo's LCD display.
If you see this notification in your SmartHQ app, you have the option to click DISMISS or DETAILS. Clicking DISMISS will remove the notification until the issue is detected again. If you click DETAILS, the app will provide SELF HELP instructions for cleaning the dual-stage lint filter, as well as a video showing the cleaning process, which should help improve the air flow.
What to Do When 'Lint Filter Clogged' Appears on Your SmartHQ App
Wash the dual-stage lint filter by carefully opening the filter frame and removing the black foam filter. Hand wash the foam filter and discard lint. Then wash both sides of the mesh filter with warm soapy water and scrub with a soft bristle brush to remove excess buildup. Once clean, reassemble and insert back into the unit. NEVER OPERATE THE COMBO WITHOUT ITS FILTERS IN PLACE.
