Dishwasher - Control Lock-Out - Models GSD2800, GSD2900, GSD4400, GSD4900, and ZBD3000

Almost all Dishwashers have a Control Lock-Out feature. The feature may be referred to as Control Lock-Out, Control Lock or Child Lock. The Control Lock feature is used to prevent a person from interrupting a cycle already in progress or starting a cycle by accident. Setting the Control Lock (Child Lock) feature varies by model. Using the Control Lock Feature on Models GSD2800, GSD2900, GSD4400, GSD4900, and ZBD3000

GSD2800D, GSD2800L, GSD2800P

To lock the electronic controls on these models, push twice within 3 seconds right above the China-Crystal cycle pad. The monitor screen will read "locked". The only control unaffected is Delay Start. To unlock the control, press the same location twice.

 

ZBD3000

To lock the electronic controls on this model, push twice within 3 seconds right above the Normal Soil cycle pad. The monitor screen will read "locked". The only control unaffected is Delay Start. To unlock the control, press the same location twice.

 

GSD2900 series, GSD2800S

To lock the electronic controls on this model, push twice within 3 seconds right "on" the written words "Normal Soil" on the control panel. The monitor screen will read "locked". The only control unaffected is Delay Start. To unlock the control, press the same location twice. Note: Minutes and soil level will also show on the display but functions will not operate when the Dishwasher has been placed in the "lock" position.

 

GSD4900 series, GSD4400 series

The "lock" selection is on the control panel. To lock the door, touch the "lock" pad twice within 3 seconds. To unlock the door, follow the same procedure.
