Ranges and Wall Ovens have a Special Features ("SF") menu that allows a user to make adjustments to the operation of the oven or controls. The Owner's Manual will provide model specific instructions for accessing the Special Features ("SF") menu and changing the functions within the menu.
Accessing the Special Features Menu (Most Models)
Press the BAKE and BROIL pads simultaneously for about 5 seconds until "SF" is displayed in the control panel.
Most Common Special Features Options and Adjustments
Features and options vary by model. Check the Owner's Manual for model-specific information.
Automatic Convection Conversion or Auto Recipe Conversion
Temperatures need to be reduced by 25 degrees Fahrenheit when using convection bake. When set, this feature will automatically make this adjustment whenever convection bake or convection cook is used.
On current models, the converted temperature will not show on the display, though on many pre-2018 models, the converted temperature is what is displayed. To confirm the oven is lowering the temperature, make sure Con On is set.
Auto Oven Shutoff/12-Hour Shutdown
This is a safety feature that will automatically turn the oven off after twelve hours. This feature can be deactivated for religious holidays.
Centigrade or Fahrenheit
Optional temperature display selection based on geographic location.
Clock Display
This allows the clock display to be turned off or set as a 12 Hour clock or a 24 Hour clock. Changing the clock to standard or military time varies by control type. Here are 2 examples for setting the Clock Display on different control types:
No Clock on Range Display - Controls Set with Arrows

Cook and Hold
The oven will automatically go into a 170 degree Fahrenheit mode at the end of a timed cook operation and will hold the temperature up to 3 hours. The display returns to the time of day after set, so this must be set-up prior to the TIME BAKE function.

Oven Temperature Calibration or Adjust Oven Thermostat
The oven target temperature can be adjusted up or down to your satisfaction. Use this feature of you think the oven temperature is too hot or too cold and wish to change it. This adjustment affects Bake and Convection Bake modes. No other cooking modes are affected.
End of the Cycle Tone Setting
This is the tone that signals the end of a timer. The tone can be either a continuous or single beep.
Sound Volume
This feature allows adjustment to the volume on all tones (End of Timer and Oven Tones). Adjustment can typically be made between high (Hi), medium (Reg), low (lo) and off (Off). The control will sound the tone at the new volume level each time the sound level is changed.
Control Lockout:
Your control will allow you to lock out the touch pads so that they cannot be activated when touched or when cleaning the glass panel.
