Dishwasher Lower Spray Arm Not Spinning
To get the best wash performance from your dishwasher, ensure your spray arm can rotate freely. This will allow an even distribution of water so each dish will be cleaned. Two symptoms that the dishwasher has a blocked spray arm are constant tapping noise when running the dishwasher or section of the dishwasher not getting properly washed.To ensure the spray arm can rotate freely, spin the spray arms with your hand and make sure it can make a full revolution. Common items blocking spray arm are:
- Utensils (wooden spoon, spatulas, etc.)
- Cutting boards
- Large pots and pans
