Ice Maker - Location / Temperature Install Requirements

The 15"W Nugget and Gourmet ice makers can be installed as freestanding or built-in units.

Installation Information

• Our ice makers can be built into a cabinet.Air flows in and out of it through the grill at the bottom front so the grill must not be blocked by any covering door, or other obstruction.
• Do not install where the unit can come in contact with water.
• Use proper temperature water supply. The maximum water temperature entering the unit should be no less than 40°F and no more than 100°F.
• The unit should be connected to potable (drinkable) water; however, we do not recommend using de-ionized water or a whole home reverse osmosis system.
• Our ice makers are designed to operate in a wide range of air temperatures with a minimum air temperature of 50°F and a maximum air temperature of 100°F. Although these makers will function within the listed ranges, they work best at air temperatures between 60°F and 80°F.
