Microwave - Protective Film and Tape

Many over-the-range and countertop microwaves come with a protective film on the outside of the door and around the control panel. There may also be blue tape on the inside of the door around the window that should be removed.

Removing Protective Film or Tape From a Microwave Oven

The protective film helps to prevent scratches from occurring on the appliance during the assembly, packing, shipping and installation processes.
