Opal Ice Maker - Controls on Models with Round Power Button on the Front

The OPAL01GEPKT Opal Ice Maker can be turned On or Off, placed in "night" mode, switched to cleaning mode, and more. Below are instructions related to these features on the OPAL01GEPKT.

Using the Controls on the Opal Ice Maker With the Round Power Button on the Front

Button Control

• ON/OFF: Touch once to turn the Opal on or off.

• Night vs Normal Lighting: Press and hold the round button on the front of the Opal for 3 seconds to toggle between the night light and normal display. 

  • Additionally, the Opal night light can be controlled using the SmartHQ​​​​​​​™ app.

Display Ring

• The display ring around the button on the front is designed to tell you what the Opal is doing.

Mode Switch (Located On the Back)

• Switch to “Ice” position: Places the Opal in ice making mode.

• Switch to “Cleaning” position: Places the Opal in cleaning mode.
