GE Appliances Account - Editing / Updating Registered Products

Editing, Updating, or Adding a Registered Product (Appliance)

  • Log into your Account:  Account Login.

  • Click on Account Details.

  • Click the edit icon (a box with pencil) to the right of the Account information you want to change.

 

Note:

  • Your email address is also your Account login. If you change the email address, the new email becomes your new username.

  • You cannot use Internet Explorer (IE) to log into your Account; other browsers are supported. 

 

Adding an Appliance

  1. From Your Products, click Add A Product

  2. You will get a pop-up that says "Would you like to add a new product or find products you've previously registered? Click Register a New Product.

  3. Fill out the model number, serial number, and installation (purchase date) fields. Once all fields are filled out, the form provides two options: Add Another Product and Continue

    •  If you have more than one appliance to register, click Add Another Product. Fill out the form again with the next appliance's model number, serial number, and installation date.

    • If this is the only product, click continue. If you made a mistake and do have other appliances, you'll be given another chance to add another product later.

  4. Select the address where the appliance(s) will be located (Primary or one of your additional address). To add an additional address, click Add a New Address or see: GE Appliances Account - Editing / Updating Address.

  5. Select the phone number (if you have more than one on your Account) that you want the appliances associated with.

  6. Click Continue.

  7. Review your contact and product information and click Submit Registration or Edit Registration (if needed).

    • Note: Sometimes the product does not have a picture available. If your model number, serial number, and installation date show on the "Review Your Information" page, the product will be added to your account. This does not mean the product is not a valid appliance model number.

  8. After you submit your registration, you will see "Success! Thank you for registering your appliance." to confirm you are registered. You can click on the View Your Account option or Register Another Product if you have another appliance to register.

 

Modifying an Appliance Registration

  1. From Your Products, click on the picture of the registered appliance.

  2. From here, you can edit the Location (address), Serial Number, or Appliance Nickname (optional) for that appliance.

  3. After changing the information, be sure to click Save on any of the Edit pages.

 

Removing (Deleting) an Appliance

  1. From Your Products, click on the picture of the registered appliance.

  2. Click the x next to Remove Product From My Account

  3. You will get a pop-up saying "Removing this product will delete it permanently from your GE Appliances account. Click OK.
