Kitchen Hub - Charcoal Filters (Recirculating Venting Only)
If your Kitchen Hub is not vented to the outside, the air needs to be recirculated through a disposable charcoal filter that helps remove smoke and odors. The charcoal filters are included with the unit.
- Charcoal filter cannot be cleaned or put in the dishwasher.
- The charcoal filter should be replaced every 6 months or if it is noticeably dirty or discolored.
Replacement Filters:
To remove:
- Remove the metal filters. Press on the filter handle to disengage the filter lock, which releases the filter or see the Metal Grease Filter section of your Owner's Manual.
- Remove the charcoal filter on each side of the blower.
To install:
- Remove the metal filters. Press on the filter handle to disengage the filter lock, which releases the filter or see the Metal Grease Filter section of your Owner's Manual.
- Install the charcoal filter mounts to either side of the motor.
- Insert the snap on the charcoal filter into the center on the mount.
- Clip the charcoal filter in until it is locked.
- Repeat with second filter on the other side of the motor.
- Replace the metal filters.
