Refrigerator - Icemaker Power Light Not Lit or Blinking

Many Refrigerators feature an icemaker that has a green indicator light on the icemaker body. The light is off when the icemaker is turned off and the light is on when the icemaker is turned on. The indicator light should not be flashing or blinking.

Diagnosing the Icemaker Indicator Light

Most icemakers have a green light to indicate the icemaker is turned on. If the LED indicator is not on, make sure the icemaker is turned on.

• To turn the icemaker on, press the switch next to the light to the ON position. Some icemakers may be shipped in the OFF position.

If the green power light on the icemaker is blinking, ice cubes may be stuck in the icemaker.
