Microwave - Display Goes Blank, Turns Off

If the display is blank on an Over-the-Range Microwave, there are some things you can check in an attempt to remedy the concern. Please check the following problem solving tips provided below.

Diagnosing a Microwave Display That Is Blank

• The display has been turned off.
• • Some models have a Display On/Off pad on the control panel.
  • Some models allow you to turn the display on or off from the Options or Settings menu.
  • Consult the Owner's Manual to see if the display can be turned on and off for your specific model.
• Check if your model has a Power Saver feature. The Clock will disappear from the display panel one minute after the Microwave has not been in use and remains off until the Microwave is used again when the Power Saver feature is on. • Verify that power is going to the Microwave at the outlet and/or circuit breaker.
