Top Load Washer - Stops During Spin Cycle
If your top load smart washer, model GTW860, will not finish spinning and is connected to the SmartHQ™ app on your smart phone, make sure the washer is not connected to the dryer through the communication cable accessory.Top load washers with the Clean Speak feature can communicate with dryers that also have Clean Speak via a communication cable (ethernet cord). When the washer and dryer is connected by the cable, the washer sends a signal to the dryer at the end of the wash cycle to indicate the preferred dry cycle.Any smart top load washer can also communicate with the dryer by WiFi through a smart phone and the SmartHQ app. Smart model GTW860 has the Clean Speak feature, so the washer and dryer can communicate with either the ethernet cord or by WiFi, but not both. The washer will not complete the spin if connected to WiFi and the ethernet cord is still connected.
To correct: Remove the ethernet cord between the washer and dryer and connect your smart dryer to the SmartHQ app separately.
