Dehumidifier - Not Collecting Water
If your dehumidifier is not collecting water, the appliance is not operating properly. Obviously, the dehumidifier will not collect water if the relative humidity level in the area where the appliance is located is below the set humidity level on the appliance. You should definitely consider this if no water is being collected. However, if the dehumidifier never, ever collects water, it is not operating correctly.
- Try resetting the dehumidifier by disconnecting power to the appliance for 30 seconds and reconnecting the power. Then, set the control settings and see if the dehumidifier operates properly.
Dehumidifier Not Collecting Water
- If the dehumidifier is still not collecting water, please refer to the warranty information provided in the Owner's Manual for the specific model you own.
- If the dehumidifier is out of warranty and in need of a repair, check with local service providers to see if they service dehumidifiers. Please note that there are not repair parts available for dehumidifiers and GE Appliances Factory Service does not service dehumidifiers.
