Range - Automatic Oven Features

Some ranges have one or more options that will allow the oven to start or stop automatically. A model with Automatic features could have one or both features.  

• Cook Time is set when you start the oven and counts down the cooking time; it will turn the oven off when the cooking time is complete. For more information: Range Setting Cook Time
• Delay Time will delay when the oven will come on to start cooking. For more information: Range / Wall Oven - Delay Start of Cooking

You may see an Automatic Oven indicator on the control (depending on your model). The indicator will light up when you use either Cook Time, Delay Time, or both. It is especially helpful when using Delay Time so that you know that it has been set and will start automatically in the amount of time you set it to start.
