Oven Calibration - Oven Temperature Knobs and Up and Down Pads on Control

If your gas or electric oven temperature does not match your expectations, you can calibrate (adjust) your oven temperature. The steps for oven calibration depend on the type of oven controls.

For models with an oven temperature control knob AND Up and Down arrows on the control:

  1. Put the OVEN TEMP in the OFF position.
  2. Press and hold the HOUR +/- pads for 5 seconds until the display changes.
  3. Before the display changes back, press the HOUR +/- pads to increase and decrease the temperature in 5 degree increments.
  4. Replace the knob, matching the flat area of the knob to the shaft.
  5. Wait several seconds for the control to automatically set and return to its previous setting.
