Wall Oven & Range - Calibrating Oven Using Settings and Options on Control

If your oven's set temperature is too hot or not hot enough, you may need to calibrate (adjust) your oven's thermostat.  The oven set temperature can be increased or decreased up to 35 degrees by accessing the menu on the control panel.

  • This adjustment will be retained in memory after a power failure and will not affect the broiling or self-cleaning temperatures.

  • On double oven models, the upper and lower ovens are adjusted separately.

Many models have a Settings pad on the Control Panel that opens more detailed menus in the display. To use the Oven Temperature Adjustment feature:

  1. Select the "Settings" pad.

  2. Using the number pad, select option "5" to enter the Oven Temperature Adjustment feature.

  3. Select either option "1" to increase the temperature or option "2" to decrease the temperature in 1 degree Fahrenheit increments.

  4. Select option "9" to save your adjustment.

  5. Press the "Settings" pad to exit the Settings menu.
