Range & Wall Oven - Calibrating Oven with LCD Touch Screen Control
If your oven's set temperature is too hot or not hot enough, you may need to calibrate (adjust) your oven's thermostat. The oven set temperature can be increased or decreased up to 35 degrees Fahrenheit by accessing the menu on the control panel.
This adjustment will be retained in the memory after a power failure and will not affect the broiling or self-cleaning temperatures.
On double oven models, the upper and lower ovens are adjusted separately.
Calibrating the Oven Temperature Using the LCD Touch Screen Control
On models with a LCD Touch Screen on the Control Panel, there are numerous settings that can be accessed by pressing the system icon located in the top right corner of the main screen. To use the Oven Temperature Adjustment feature, do the following:
Slide a finger up the screen to find and select the "Cooking" Menu.
Touch the "+" (hotter) or "-" (cooler) to adjust the oven temperature by increments of 1 degree Fahrenheit.
Touch the "X" at the top right corner of the main screen to save the adjustment and exit the "Cooking" Menu.
