Range & Wall Oven – Calibrating Oven Using 3x3 Scrolling Keypad Control

If your oven's set temperature is too hot or not hot enough, you may need to calibrate (adjust) your oven's thermostat. The oven set temperature can be increased or decreased up to 35 degrees Fahrenheit by accessing the menu on the control panel.

 

  • This adjustment will be retained in memory after a power failure and will not affect the broiling or self-cleaning temperatures.

  • On double oven models, the upper and lower ovens are adjusted separately.

Calibrating the Oven Temperature Using the 3x3 Scrolling Keypad Control

There are numerous Special Features that are controlled by using the number keypad on the oven's control panel. To adjust the oven temperature, please do the following procedure.

 

  1. Press and hold the "BAKE" and "BROIL" pads simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter the Special Features mode.

  2. Use the number pad to navigate the menu to the option for adjust oven temperature:

    • Up = 2

    • Down = 8

    • Return to Main Menu = 4

    • Select = 6

    • To save change or select an option = 5

  3. Press "2" until the display reads "UPPER TE-P OFFSET" or "LO-ER TE-P OFFSET", depending on what oven is being adjusted (upper or lower) for a double wall oven. If a single wall oven, press "2" until the display reads "UPPER TE-P OFFSET".

  4. Press the "6" to change the Special Features setting.

  5. Press "2" to increase or "8" to decrease the temperature (up to 35 degrees) in one degree increments.

    • If your food is overcooking, pressing the number 8 will decrease the temperature by 1 degree increments.

    • If your food is undercooking, pressing the number 2 will increase the temperature by 1 degree increments.

  6. Press "5" to save temperature adjustment.

  7. Press "4" to return to the main menu.

  8. Press and hold the "BAKE" and "BROIL" pads simultaneously for 3 seconds to exit the Special Features mode.
