Smart Range or Wall Oven - Control Your Oven Remotely

The Remote Enable* feature on many of our smart wall ovens and ranges lets you to start your oven by using the SmartHQ™ app on your smartphone, or hands-free with Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant*. These models have Remote Enable on the control, and Remote Enable pad must be pressed to use the oven remotely.

*Smart wall ovens or ranges (starting in late 2021) do not have without a Remote Enable on the control. They can be turned on and controlled remotely without needing to press Remote Enable on the appliance first.

About Remote Enable

Controlling the Oven Remotely

  • Once the oven is set to cook (either manually at the oven or remotely), you can control it through the SmartHQ app or by using Amazon Alexa or the Google Assistant. You can modify the oven temperature, set the Timer, turn off the oven, and more.
  • All of the Special Features found in the Owner's Manual can be changed at any time. You don't need to engage Remote Enable first. You can set Sabbath mode, the beeper volume, clock mode, and more.
  • Remote Enable turns off when the cooking cycle ends, or if you cancel it. It's a good idea to press the Remote Enable button each time you turn off the oven or open the door. This make sure Remote Enable will be ready the next time you need it.
