Wall Oven & Range - Calibrating Oven with Double Row of Numbers on Control

If your oven's set temperature is too hot, or not hot enough, you may need to calibrate your oven's thermostat. The oven set temperature can be increased or decreased up to 35 degrees by accessing the menu on the control panel.

  • This adjustment will be retained in memory after a power failure and will not affect the broiling or self-cleaning temperatures.

  • On double oven models, the upper and lower ovens will be adjusted separately.

On models with a horizontal key pad and no surface controls on the control panel, press and hold the "Bake" and "Broil" buttons for 3 seconds to enter the Special Features options for your oven. The display will then show either "SF" or "OFFSET".

If "SF" appears in the display:

  1. Press "Bake".  The display will then show "0".

  2. Using the key pad, enter a number between 0 and 35 degrees for the amount of adjustment you want to make to the oven's temperature. Pressing "Bake" again allows you to toggle between negative and positive numbers.

    • For example, if you want to increase the oven's temperature setting by 5 degrees, press "5". If you want to decrease the oven's temperature setting by 5 degrees, press "Bake" to change from a positive number to a negative number.

  3. Press "Start" to save the adjustment and exit the Special Features.

If "OFFSET" appears in the display:

  1. Press the numbers/arrows on the keypad to navigate the Special Features menu until the display shows "OFFSET".

  2. Press "0":

  3. Press either "8" to decrease the oven temperature setting in one degree increments or press "3" to increase the oven temperature setting in one degree increments.

  4. Once you have adjusted the temperature to your satisfaction, press "0" to save the adjustment.

  5. To cancel a selection and return to the Special Features Menu, press the number "6". To exit the Special Features Menu entirely, press the number "6" again.
